With  HYLO DUAL INTENSE™ interaction of Sodium Hyaluronate and Ectoine provides intensive long-lasting lubrication of the ocular surface and protects against evaporation of tears. Together, they provide relief from environmentally-triggered irritations and inflammatory symptoms, such as itching and burning.

How to Use

Step 1: Remove the over-cap and turn the bottle over so the dropper tip points down.

Step 2: Prime the system before first use: Place two fingers on the base and your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle. Press firmly on the base and release. Repeat this several times until the first drop is released. Now the bottle is primed and ready to use.

Step 3: For better control and accuracy, make a base with one hand to support the hand holding the bottle.

Step 4: Lean your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid.  Press FIRMLY and QUICKLY on the base of the bottle. This enables the bottle to release one single drop into the eye. Release and repeat for the other eye. After each application close your eye slowly to allow the fluid to spread evenly over the eye surface.

Step 5: Ensure that the dropper tip is dry. Replace the over-cap. Avoid any contact between the tip of the bottle and your eye or your skin.

HYLO DUAL INTENSE is thicker and intended for chronic, persistent dryness with inflammatory symptoms such as itching and burning. It contains 2 mg/mL sodium hyaluronate plus ectoine, compared with 0.5 mg/mL sodium hyaluronate plus ectoine in HYLO-DUAL. HYLO-DUAL can be used during contact lens wear; remove your lenses before using DUAL INTENSE.

Is HYLO® DUAL INTENSE mini a different formula or a smaller bottle?

HYLO® DUAL INTENSE mini has the same formula and physical bottle size as the regular version, with 150 drops instead of 300. Choose mini for a smaller supply when starting out or using drops less often; the regular version gives you more drops for frequent use.

Can I use HYLO® DUAL INTENSE mini while wearing contact lenses?

No. Remove your contact lenses before using HYLO DUAL INTENSE or its mini format. The thick formula isn’t suitable for use while wearing lenses.

Why isn’t my new HYLO® DUAL INTENSE mini bottle releasing a drop?

Before first use, you’ll need to prime the pump. Hold the bottle tip downward, press the base firmly, then release. Repeat until the first drop appears. For each dose, press the base firmly and quickly. Don’t let the tip touch your eye or skin.

How long can I use HYLO® DUAL INTENSE mini after opening?

Use HYLO® DUAL INTENSE, including mini, within six months of first use and before the printed expiry date. Write the opening date on the bottle to help keep track.
