As of Friday, May 23, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has initiated legal strike action in the form of a nationwide overtime ban. This affects employees in both the Urban and Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier (RSMC) bargaining units. While Canada Post continues to operate, this action may lead to processing and delivery delays, especially in areas with high mail volumes.
At this time, there are no rotating strikes or full work stoppages. However, it is unclear how the situation may evolve. We are actively monitoring all developments and will keep you updated should further strike actions impact postal operations.
As always, at EyeDropShop, we remain focused on minimizing any disruption to your orders. Where appropriate, we will rely on trusted alternative carriers, including Purolator and FedEx, for certain shipments. Please note, however, that deliveries to PO Boxes and certain rural areas may still be delayed, as these locations are primarily serviced by Canada Post.
We understand the importance of timely delivery—especially when it comes to your eye health—and are doing everything possible to maintain a smooth experience. Thank you for your continued trust, patience, and understanding.
If you have any questions or need assistance, our customer happiness team is here to help.
Warm regards,
The Eye Drop Shop Team
