Soothing, Self-Hydrating Warm Compress for Daily Eye Comfort

The Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress is a doctor-recommended, microwavable, and reusable treatment for chronic dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), blepharitis, styes, and digital eye strain. Its patented MediBeads® technology absorbs moisture from the air and releases it as clean, consistent moist heat—no water needed, no mess, just relief.

The Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress warms the internal glands of the eyelid to release natural oils onto the ocular surface, providing relief for patients and slowing tear evaporation.

Benefits

  • Clinically Proven Relief: Helps clear blocked meibomian glands and restore tear film stability to relieve dry eye and irritation.
  • Self-Hydrating & Easy to Use: No water required—just microwave for 20–25 seconds and apply for 8–10 minutes.
  • Reusable & Washable: Durable and easy to clean, making it ideal for long-term daily use.
  • Precision Heat & Comfort: Patented MediBeads release controlled, soothing moist heat that penetrates deeply and evenly.
  • Antibacterial, Non-Allergenic: Safe for all skin types, including sensitive eyes. Designed for repeated safe use.
  • Ergonomic Two-Pod Design: Contours naturally to the eye area for targeted therapy—avoiding cheeks and forehead.

More Details

The Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress is trusted by eye care professionals for its ability to naturally improve gland function and reduce tear evaporation, key contributors to dry eye and MGD.

Its MediBeads technology absorbs ambient moisture and delivers uniform moist heat once microwaved, hydrating the eyes, improving oil flow, and soothing irritation. Unlike many compresses, Bruder requires no water and no preparation time, offering fast, convenient relief.

The unique two-pod design allows better fit and comfort, focusing heat where it’s needed most—over the meibomian glands in the eyelids. This targeted therapy can help relieve discomfort from contact lens wear, digital screen use, post-surgical recovery, and more.

When you receive this mask the washings instructions says wait 2 hours after use. Hand Wash only in cold water with a mild detergent. What mild detergent is safe to use? dish soap?
You can use a mild laundry detergent designed for delicate fabrics. Avoid using dish soap, bleach, or fabric softeners. You can also use HOCL spray that is made for eye care.
BrudercMask. I don’t have a microwave. Can u heat in an oven?
Thank you for your question. The Bruder Mask is specifically designed to be heated in a microwave. Heating it in an oven can damage the mask.
How do you properly wash the Bruder mask between use?
Great question. Allow the mask to cool to room temperature. Hand wash with warm water and air dry. For a deeper clean, you can spray the mask with HOCL Spray (Hypochlorous Acid 0.02% or less) and let it air dry.
Can i boil these as i don't have a microwave.
Thank you for your question. The Bruder mask can only be heated in the microwave. However, there are other masks available that can generate heat without needing a microwave. Please contact us at info@eyedropshop.ca for more options.
