LacriPure Rinsing & Insertion Saline

LacriPure is a unit-dose non-preserved, 0.9% NaCl (normal saline) solution indicated for rinsing soft, rigid gas permeable and hybrid contact lenses prior to insertion. The sterile saline solution is also indicated for filling scleral lenses prior to insertion.

LacriPure’s 5ml blow-fill-seal vials are appropriately sized for all scleral lens diameters and offer the safety of single-use bottles that help to prevent contamination. Because LacriPure contains no buffers or preservatives, the risk of a toxic reaction is significantly reduced.

How to Use

1.     Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your contact lenses.

2.     Always handle one lens, left or right, first in order to avoid mix-ups.

3.     Following proper lens disinfection, twist off the tab of the LacriPure single use vial completely to open.

• ·      For soft (hydrophilic), rigid gas permeable, hybrid and hard contact lenses, apply several drops to each lens surface to rinse the lenses prior to insertion.
• ·      For large diameter (scleral) contact lenses, rinse both sides of the lens and fill the back surface prior to insertion.
• ·      For contact lens cases rinse all inner surfaces of the case and lens vial caps.
• ·      For rinsing lenses throughout the day, remove the lens, rinse both surfaces with several drops of LacriPure and re-insert the lenses.

4.     Use only the solutions recommended by your eye care practitioner.

S. Discard single use vial after each use. Do not reuse.
